FOR TELEGRAM BOT AND CHANNEL TEAMS
Give your Telegram bot its next introduction.
Reach people in other Telegram bots with a clear invitation to try yours. Connect the ad to a useful first action, then measure what new users do next.

DESIGN THE FIRST VISIT
A bot start is the beginning of the experience.
Before choosing a budget, walk through the journey as someone who has never used your bot. The invitation and first response should make sense together.
Promise one useful thing
For Word Steps, that could be a five-minute routine or a chance to practise five words today. Both are concrete invitations. Choose the promise your bot can fulfil on its first visit.
Make the first action obvious
Check the destination link, press Start and follow the onboarding. For this example, choosing a level leads to an exercise. Long menus and unexplained commands make it harder to reach the promised value.
Choose what success means
Record both new starts and the useful action you care about: completing an exercise, creating a reminder or coming back. These answer different questions about the experience.
CONNECT THE INVITATION TO THE START
Give each invitation a recognisable source.
Telegram bot links can carry a start parameter. Your bot needs to handle that parameter and record the event in your own system.
Use a short campaign label
Replace your_bot with your bot username. Use a different label for each creative so the resulting starts can be grouped by invitation.

When the bot receives the start command and payload, save the source with the user record. Deduplicate repeat starts if your goal is new users, and keep the same source when measuring the first completed exercise.
Read the two sets of data together
Compare your bot’s attributed actions with campaign spend and successful sends in AdHub. A send, a click, a start and a retained user are separate events; tracking needs to reflect that.
FOR TELEGRAM CHANNELS
Give someone a reason to subscribe.
A channel invitation needs a clear editorial promise. Show what a subscriber will receive and make that value visible when they arrive.
Describe the content they can expect
For the fictional Small Ideas channel, the promise is one practical planning tip each week. An invitation about a specific topic is easier to evaluate than a generic request to join.
Prepare the destination
Use a valid channel or invite link. Check that a new visitor can open it and understand the channel from its description, recent posts and pinned introduction. The ad is delivered in other bots, with your channel as the destination.
Measure subscriptions separately
Where your channel’s tools support campaign-specific invite links, use them to attribute joins. Otherwise, record the available channel statistics and recognise that aggregate growth can include other sources. AdHub does not report channel subscriptions.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST TEST
See the invitation as a message.
Use the ad editor’s preview to check your copy and button, then test the destination yourself before launch.
